We enjoyed our stay to Appia residences in Prague - from 30.11 to 04.12.2011.

Hotel is situated in a quiet area near Carol bridge , 20 minutes walk to old town and close to all places of interest in Prague.

The hotel is clean , breakfast is good . We booked a suite , but finally we had a big apartment with 3 rooms which could accomodate up to 4-5 people.

Things to be improved : breakfast which could be much more variate.

Overall , we definitely would come back to Appia residences.

I stayed in the Appia apartments in Mala Strana (Prague) for two nights ( November 7 and 8) and with great pleasure.

It is a beautiful place in a quiet part of Mala Strana, the most beautiful part of Prague. The hotel had style and atmosphere, it was in an old monastery. The room was spacious and well equipped. The breakfast room in the attic was impressive.

When I shall visit Prague again next year I certainly will stay in this hotel again.

The breakfast was good, but I still have a suggestion: more sweet things like different types of jam, preferably home made and in big jars as I know form other hotels.

the service was good too. I had forgotten my electric toothbrush, but it was found and I was phoned to inform me about that. I could pick it up on my way back.

My only critical comment is the taxi service via the hotel. I had to wait at least 20 minutes for my taxi, the driver did not know the best/shortest way to the railway station and dropped me at a somewhat inconvenient place. Moreover the ( with the hotel agreed fixed) price was higher than when I took a taxi from the railway station to the hotel.

Both Don and I were very happy with our accommodations at Appia Residences. We had a lovely suite, very comfortable, attractively appointed, and a fabulous breakfast each morning in a beautiful room under the rafters. The location was perfect and so quiet, we slept very well and were able to walk all over the city without requiring public transportation. Your staff members were polite and helpful and efficient, and the price was very reasonable. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. We would recommend your hotel to friends planning a visit to beautiful Praha!

We booked the Appia Residences for 4 nights and it was our wedding weekend travel. Everything was wonderful-from the very beginning till the end of our stay in this hotel. We arrived a bit earlier than we expected, but the room was already prepared and waiting for us-so there was no issue to leave our baggage, take a shower and enjoy terrific Old City and St.Vitus cathedral. It's just 2 minutes walk from the hotel and you can start your city tour from the hotel easily.
The most popular city sightseeing- The Charles Bridge is 3 minutes walk from the hotel door. OldTown square is 5 minutes from the hotel-so the location of the place is perfect for those who like walking on foot to see all sight-seeings-you should not use public transport and it's a kind of economy thing for your journey.
As for the room itself and the staff-the number was perfectly cleaned and had 2 rooms-one with sofa and 2 armchairs and second one with big bed-which was, as you understand, the most important thing to us:) The staff cleaned room everyday and changed towels also. The was also a kettle so you can make some tea/coffee in the room. I was a bit afraid about the bathroom, since there was no shower curtain, but I was really surprised cause the water didn't spill to much to the floor-it was dry as they also have a flour heating system. 
As for breakfast- I don't think that anybody could stay hungry after the breakfast:you can find various sausages, cheese, bread and other. They usually offer you whether you want to drink tea or coffee, so there are no annoying noisy automatic coffee machines.
All and all-it's great place to have all famous sigh-seeings around and near to access(Petrin hill as well). friendly staff, well-furnished room and great price. I would love to stay there for the next time when we visit Prague.
P.S. We didn't use parking, so there is no much to tell about it, but as I know a lot of tourists do use it and it's a bit expensive, but there is no other place, since it's the center of the city and they not used to park their cars in the street-you might not find it in the morning standing in the place where you've left it.

2011 in order to celebrate my wife's 40th Birthday, we were really pleased for your staff and for the wonderfull location that permitted to us to visit the splendid Prague. Excellent suite ideal for family as we are.

Service was fine, breakfast as well I would suggest just to offer an Italian breakfast that means some biscuits and a more stronger caffee.

We enjoyed the journey and we promised

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

meine Frau und ich sind begeistert von Prag und vom Hotel Appia.

Es fing an mit dem äußerst freundlichen Empfang. Dann erhielten wir ohne Aufpreis statt des gebuchten Doppelzimmers eine urgemütliche Suite unterm Dach (403) mit Aussicht auf den Hradschin. Alles war blitzsauber und nachts absolut ruhig.

Die Lage des Hotels ist phantastisch: zu Fuß 10 Minuten zum Hradschin und 10 Minuten zur Karlsbrücke! Das Frühstücksbuffet ist toll. Und wenn man müde zurück kommt, sitzt man spät abends noch bei einem Glas Rotwein im Innenhof. Was will man mehr?

Und nicht zu vergessen: Eine prima Tiefgarage hat´s auch!

Beim nächsten Pragbesuch werden wir wieder im Appia wohnen.

All the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The apartment (401a) was gorgeous. We recommend that you make it more clear about the rooms and bathrooms as it says it has an ajoining bathroom and couples would find this offputting. Breakfast was really good and the apartment sparkling.

Sehr freundliches Empfangspersonal. Die sehr gut deutsch sprechende Empfangsdame erklärte uns sofort per Lageplan unseres Ausgangspunkt und die Sehenswürdigkeiten rundherum. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit Terrasse und auch die besonders ruhige Lage ist hervorzuheben. Einen Wermutstropfen hat man ja meistens, bei uns waren es die Mieter des Zimmers über und, die am 2. Tag abends anreisten. Bis Mitternacht trampelte das Kind auf unseren Köpfen und war auch früh um 6.00 Uhr wieder aktiv. Vielleicht sollte man auf die Terrasse verzichten und ein Zimmer im 2. Stock bestellen, dann ist die Ruhe vollkommen.

Tolles Hotel, nur ein wenig schwer zu finden (das Navi hatte Probleme mit den Gassen, Einbahnstraße). Aber als wir es endlich hatten, super. Genau gegenüber der Deutschen Botschaft und ca. 10 min zur Karlsbrücke. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön, wir hatten eins von den wenigen mit Terrasse, herrlich zum Entspannen nach einem anstrengenden Tag in der Stadt. Wir haben super geschlafen, kein Lärm nur die Kirchenglocken. Frühstück war auch gut, für jeden was dabei, und direkt auf dem Dachboden. Das Auto konnten wir auch direkt in der Tiefgarage abstellen. Also alles in Allem ein gelungener Kurztrip.

Super Lage!!! Prager Burg, Karlsbrücke und viele andere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zum fuß zu erreichen. Zentralgelegen aber trotzdem und schön ruhig. Zimmer ist großzügig, sauber Stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir sind sehr zufrieden.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt hier als sehr angenehm empfunden ind sind rundum zufrieden.

Absolut empfehlenswert, beste lage top service, ein Traum für eine Städtereise, kommen bestimmt wieder. Danke auch an das Personal, war sehr bemüht, kann überhaupt nichts negatives sagen. Tiefgarage  top und alles ist so zentral gelegen. Spitzenhotel nur weiter so. 100 % Weiterempfehlung !! Danke für den gelungen Urlaub !!

Very helpful staff. Jubilant Jana and Diligent Daniel...We couldn't ask for a better staff. Breakfast was great with a lot of variety of meats and fruits (Even my favorite - slices of watermelon!)and plentiful. Elevator was a bonus also. Very quiet at night and really good inter-net hook ups. Bathroom door would sort of trap you on the toilet, but you shouldn't be on it that much anyway?

Top Lage, sehr ruhig gelegen und trotzdem sehr zentral. Zimmer, Speisesaal, Bedienung, Frühstück:  man konnte sich nicht besser vorstellen. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal -> vielen Dank! Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen. Wenn wir nochmal nach Prag fahren, dann bestimmt zu dem Hotel.

Positiv waren die geräumigen, freundlichen und hellen Zimmer, die abgeschlossene Tiefgarage und die zentrale Lage. Das deutsch sprechende Personal an der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden Ihr Haus gerne weiterempfehlen.

Ideal, wenn man Ruhe sucht und trotzdem schnell zu Fuß ins Zentrum will. Erholsamer Garten, hier kann man richtig Urlaub machen. Sehr sicher, da Polizei in unmittelbarer Nähe und keinerlei Durchgangsverkehr möglich. Viele gute preiswerte Restaurants und gemütliche Kneipen in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Tolle Ruhelage, wunderschöner Innenhof, sehr freundliches und entgegenkommendes Personal, gutes Frühstück, Zimmer und Bad sehr groß und vor allem sauber - wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Ein wirklich sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Angestellten. Eine tolle Lage zum erkunden der prager Alt- und Innenstadt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und die Einrichtung ist stilsicher zusammengestellt. Es gibt viele schöne Pup's und Gaststätten in der Nähe. Alle Hotelangestellten haben perfekt deutsch gesprochen und konnten gute Tip's zum Erkunden Prags (sowohl bei Tag als auch bei Nacht) geben Die Kulisse vor dem Prager Schloss und der deutschen Botschaft ist natürlich auch nicht zu verachten. Ich kann dieses Hotel wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Das Hotel ist nicht sehr groß aber sehr nett, die deutsche Botschaft in direkter Nähe. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr günstig. Bis Karlsbrücke geht man ca. 10 Minuten, die Kathedrale ist quasi um die Ecke. Unser Auto ist die ganze Zeit (4 Tage) in der Garage geblieben (die Garage ist zu empfehlen, in der Gegend sind die Parkplätze sind rar). Die Hotelmitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist überschaubar, aber ausreichend. Wir können das Haus mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

Anscheinend neu renoviertes, ehemaliges Klostergebäude mit Topservice und sehr aufmerksamem Personal. Sehr gute Lage, leicht ansteigender 5 Min. Weg von der Karlsbrücke aus, 10 Minuten auf die Burg. Trotz zentraler Lage absolut ruhig.Problemlose Tiefgarage vorhanden.Viele Lokale und Bistros, aber auch Geschäfte und kleiner Supermarkt in Umgebung.Preis-Leistung hervorragend!Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Schönes Zimmer, zentrale aber doch ruhig Lage, leckeres Frühstück mit genug Angebot, nettes Personal und Sauberkeit in der ganzen Anlage: rumdrum eine gute Bleibe.

Aufnahme, kompetente Betreuung, ein angenehm schönes Zimmer und ruhige Lage, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, besonders angenehm war der Wasserkocher mit den Teebeuteln, man konnte sich abends in Ruhe kostenlos eine Tasse Tee machen. Wir empfehlen das Hotel weiter. Das Hotelpersonal war äußerst zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Das Hotel und die Lage waren super. Nach einem langen Tag kam man pflastermüde in eine absolut ruhige und schöne Oase. Sehr gute Betten! 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Burg und zur Karlsbrücke bedeuteten, das das Auto (sicher) in der Garage bleiben konnte. Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen und wir sind bestimmt nicht anspruchslos:)

Strávili sme nádherny predlžený víkend v Prahe, boli sme nadmieru spokojní! Ubytovanie vo velmi dobrej polohe všade na skok! ranajky formou bufetu na výber, kto čo má rád sladke, masové, kto čo má rád, ak si chcete odpočinut od hluku a stresu ideálne, i ked je to v centre, ale v tichej uličke, skutočne doporučujeme :-)))

However, per my trip to Prague I found the Appia Residences an excellent choice for lodging. Great location! We walked the entire city and couldnt believe what a great location the hotel is at. Fantastic proximity to many walkable sites but located in a very quiet area of town. Great combination. The staff, ie, Filip, Martin and Jana offered paramount customer service and good information on the city, public transportation, etc.
Through my several travels to different destinations throughout the world, I have yet to find a place as this with such incredible staff and services. Large comfortable rooms, a generous breakfast available as well.
When we return to Prague, there is no question that we will stay anywhere else but this Appia Residence site.

Travelling with young children we had a great stay at Appia which is superbly situated close to major tourist attractions but in a quite road. Excellent value for money with breakfast included. Would highly recommend the apartments (2 big rooms with separate bathroom) especially if you have children.

Hotel Appia did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend it as a very peaceful place to stay. We were in a room with an outside terrace and it was wonderful to sit out and just hear birds singing and bells ringing. The rooms were very well equipped and very clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. For a hotel of this quality, I was slightly disappointed with the breakfast. Rather than a bowl of fruit it would have been nice to have had a fresh fruit salad or slices of melon or a fruit compot. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

The Hotel is very clean and bright. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. A typical continental breakfast served in a very unique breakfast restaurant. We stayed in a two room+ bathroom suite. -Very convenient for å family with one and two children. There are many good restaurants in the area. You will find our favourite lunch restaurant Fleurs Café, and our favourite dinner restaurant Carmelita within walking distance from the hotel.
We will without doubt stay in this hotel with our next stay in Prague
